Maria Solace'S Tiramisu Dessert

  1. In a bowl, beat cream, confectioners sugar, coffee liqueur, vanilla extract and 2/3 of grated chocolate.
  2. Set aside remaining chocolate for top of dessert.
  3. In another bowl, beat whipping cream until peaks form.
  4. With rubber spatula, fold cream into Mascarpone mixture.
  5. In a third bowl, mix coffee, liqueur, half teaspoon vanilla extract.
  6. Dip Savoiardi biscuits into this mixture and line a cake pan (glass) or trifle bowl.
  7. Spread some of the cream mixture over the biscuits and continue layering until cream mixture is finished.
  8. Top with cocoa and grated chocolate.
  9. If you desire, you can pipe out rosettes with whipped cream on top of dessert and dust peaks with cocoa powder.
  10. Refrigerate.
