Pepper Steak

  1. Pound steak to 1/4-inch thickness, using meat mallet.
  2. Cut steak into serving size pieces.
  3. Brown steak in hot oil in large skillet; drain.
  4. Return to skillet and add tomatoes, green peppers, onion, water, soy sauce, pepper, bouillon granules, garlic powder and ginger.
  5. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 55 minutes, stirring occasionally.
