Johnnie Masetta
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 large chopped onion
- 1/2 c. celery, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
- salt and pepper to taste
- Tabasco sauce to taste
- Worcestershire sauce to taste
- mustard to taste
- pinch of brown sugar
- 1 c. sliced mushrooms
- 1 c. sliced olives
- 1 large pkg. wide noodles
- 1/2 lb. grated cheese
- Brown first 4 ingredients until tender, but not brown.
- Add tomatoes and soup.
- Cook 30 minutes.
- Season with seasonings and brown sugar.
- Before removing from heat, add mushrooms and olives. Add to cooked noodles; mix well and put in casserole.
- Top with cheese.
- Place in hot oven 20 minutes until golden brown.
- Serves 10 generously.
