Frosted Orange Salad

  1. Drain fruit; reserve juice.
  2. Add enough water to juice to make 1 3/4 cups.
  3. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
  4. Stir in reserved juice and ginger ale.
  5. Chill until consistency of unbeaten egg whites.
  6. Fold in fruit and spoon into lightly oiled 12 x 8 x 2-inch dish.
  7. Chill until firm.
  8. Beat whipping cream until soft peaks form.
  9. Fold in salad dressing and marshmallows.
  10. Spread on top of fruit mixture.
  11. Sprinkle coconut over top.
  12. Chill well. Serves 12.
