Firecracker Barbecue Sauce

  1. Combine first 10 ingredients in small saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over moderately high heat.
  3. Reduce heat to low.
  4. Simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and discard lemon slices.
  6. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cool to room temperature.
  7. Can be refrigerated or placed in freezer in a tightly covered container.
