Hot Mess

  1. Heat oil in large skillet over medium high heat.
  2. Add onion, celery. Stir a bit.
  3. Add cumin, caraway, celery seed. Stir till fragrant.
  4. Add ground turkey. Brown thoroughly, breaking up clumps with a wooden spoon.
  5. Add salt and pepper.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Put 1/2 of cabbage in crock pot. Sprinkle with 1/2 of vinegar.
  8. Transfer meat and onion mixture to crock pot.
  9. Top with remaining cabbage; sprinkle with remaining vinegar.
  10. Cook on high for 2 hours. Turn heat to low and cook for 3 more hours.
  11. Serve with potatoes.
