Hawaiian Banana Nut Bread
- 3 c. all purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. vegetable oil
- 2 c. mashed ripe bananas
- 1 - 8 oz can crushed pineapple, drained
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- Combine first 5 ingredients.
- Stir in nuts.
- Combine remaining ingredients in separate bowl.
- Add to flour mixture stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.
- Spoon batter into 2 greased and floured 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 3 loaf pans.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove from pans and let cool on wire racks.
