Mom'S Pepper Steak

  1. Brown beef in heated oil in large skillet.
  2. Add pepper, onions and celery.
  3. Cook 3 to 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in molasses, soy sauce, lemon juice and seasoning.
  4. Blend water and cornstarch.
  5. Quickly stir into beef mixture. Cover. Simmer 5 minutes.
  6. Serve over hot cooked rice and/or heated Chinese noodles.
  7. Makes 2 to 3 servings.
  8. Add a touch more lemon juice to cut sweet taste.
