Zucchini Bread
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
- 1 c. shredded zucchini
- 1/3 c. milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Grease 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan on bottom only.
- In medium mixing bowl, cream sugar and butter.
- Add flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg, cloves, zucchini, milk, eggs and nuts.
- Beat at low speed of electric mixer until blended, scraping bowl frequently.
- Pour into prepared pan.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 45 to 50 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Remove from pan and cool on wire rack. Makes 1 loaf.
