Onion-Topped Steak

  1. Diagonally slash outer edge of fat at 1-inch intervals to prevent curling.
  2. Marinate beef as directed on envelope of meat marinade.
  3. Mix sugar, cornstarch, mustard and salt in 1 1/2-quart saucepan.
  4. Stir in water, orange peel, orange juice and lemon juice.
  5. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils.
  6. Boil and stir 1 minute.
  7. Set oven control to broil or 550u0b0. Place beef on rack in broiler pan.
  8. Broil with top 2 or 3 inches from heat until brown, about 8 minutes.
  9. Brush with orange sauce; turn over.
  10. Broil until desired doneness, 8 to 10 minutes for medium.
  11. Brush with orange sauce.
  12. Sprinkle with onions.
  13. Serve with sauce.
  14. Makes 6 servings, 450 calories per serving.
