One Skillet Pork Dinner
- 2 pork chops (1/2 inch thick)
- 2 medium potatoes
- 2 medium onions
- boiling water
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- salt (optional)
- 1 large apple
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar, granulated
- salt (optional)
- Tarragon Flour (under Miscellaneous section)
- Prepare pork chops, trimming excess fat.
- Dredge chops in Tarragon Flour.
- Brown in oil on both sides using medium-high heat.
- Pare and slice potatoes thin.
- Slice onions thin.
- Add water to skillet with browned pork chops; stir well.
- Cover and cook on medium-high for 10 minutes.
- Add potato slices; cover. Add onion slices, ringed.
- Cover and cook, adding water to keep gravy.
- Add sliced apples and sugar when almost done.
- Total cooking time is approximately 40 minutes.
