Easy Lasagna(Microwave)
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 c. Romano cheese, grated
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1 (15 1/2 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 Tbsp. oregano
- 1 1/2 c. Ricotta or cottage cheese
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 9 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- Crumble ground beef in large bowl.
- Cook at High 3 to 4 minutes, or until beef is browned; stir once.
- Drain.
- Stir in spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce and seasonings.
- Meanwhile, combine Ricotta cheese, Romano cheese, egg and pepper.
- Spoon 1/2 cup sauce in 12 x 8-inch dish; alternately layer noodles, egg mixture, Mozzarella cheese and sauce, forming 3 layers.
- Cover completely with plastic wrap. Cook at High 8 minutes and at Medium-low 32 to 34 minutes, or until noodles are tender.
- If necessary, shield ends of dish with foil, during last 10 minutes of cooking. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese; let stand, covered, 15 minutes before serving.
- Makes 6 servings.
