Pineapple Ham Balls

  1. In a bowl, combine ham, pork, bread crumbs, eggs and pepper and mix well.
  2. Chill, then form into 10 balls; set aside.
  3. Drain pineapple, reserving 1/2 cup of juice.
  4. Place juice in a saucepan with sugar, vinegar and dry mustard; cook and stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved.
  5. Arrange pineapple slices in the bottom of an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
  6. Place ham ball on each pineapple slice.
  7. Pour sugar mixture over all.
  8. Cover and bake at 350u0b0 for 1 hour or until ham balls are well done.
  9. Yields 4 to 5 servings.
