Chile-Noodle Bake
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. medium noodles, cooked and drained
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1 medium onion, chopped fine
- 2 c. sour cream
- 1 c. cream-style cottage cheese
- 1 c. chopped, prepared green chile
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- Saute
- onion
- in
- margarine
- until tender.
- Remove from heat and
- stir
- in
- sour cream, cottage cheese, chile, grated cheese (save
- 1/2
- cup),
- salt and garlic powder.
- Stir until well blended.
- Lightly toss noodles into mixture until noodles are well coated.
- Pour into greased casserole dish and bake at 350u0b0
- for 30
- minutes.
- Add
- remaining
- cheese to top.
- Cook, covered,
- for moist top, uncovered for crisp top.
- Serves 6 to 8.
