Perfect No Burn Popcorn - Every Kernal Pops And It'S Healthy Too
- 3 tablespoons popcorn
- oil, in a spray
- salt
- 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese (optional)
- Place popcorn in 2 1/2 Quart Pyrex or other microwaveable bowl with a microwave lid. It's best to have lid vented, popcorn expands by violent steam pressure so let it out.
- Microwave on hi for total of 3 minutes regardless if it's all popped or not.
- Remove popped corn and place on flat cookie sheet
- Microwave remaining un-popped kernals for another 2 minutes or til all is popped.
- Spread popcorn on sheet and spray sparingly with oil - I use refillable Mr. Misto with extra virgin olive oil.
- Salt to taste.
- Be careful! Steam is way hotter that boiling water - the bowl is hotter than a SOB! I use my hand to remove popcorn from the pyrex bowl but would be safer with a spoon or spatula.
