Mock Irish Pie
- 1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
- 1 lb. thinly sliced raw potatoes, peeled
- 1 c. thinly sliced onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. or one cube beef bouillon
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 tsp. dehydrated parsley leaves
- 1 small can refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- small amount water
- In large greased casserole dish, layer potato slices, onion and browned hamburger.
- Season each layer with sprinkling of salt, pepper, powdered bouillon, powdered or minced garlic and parsley leaves.
- Continue layers until casserole dish is an inch below the rim of the bowl.
- Whisk mushroom soup with small amount (3 or 4 tablespoons) water until smooth and lump free.
- Slowly pour over other ingredients, shaking until well covered.
- Place in 350u0b0 oven and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove from oven; cover with refrigerated biscuits.
- Return to oven and bake at 350u0b0 until biscuits are gold.
- Remove and cool slightly before serving. Serves 4.
