Goulash(Diet)

  1. Cut beef into 1-inch square pieces.
  2. Heat oil and add the meat.
  3. When meat is browned on all sides, add the chopped onion and garlic; saute 2 minutes.
  4. Add salt, paprika, pepper, tomato paste, caraway seed and flour or cornstarch.
  5. Stir thoroughly; add water and simmer very slowly for 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender.
  6. Stir in yogurt.
  7. Remove from heat immediately.
  8. Serves 6. Exchange per serving:
  9. 3 meats, 1/2 milk and 1 fat.
