Frosted Fruit Mold(7-Up Jelly Salad)
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime jello
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 sliced banana
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. whipping cream
- 7 oz. lemon-lime carbonated beverage
- 8 3/4 oz. can crushed pineapple
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 slightly beaten egg
- 1/4 c. shredded sharp American cheese
- Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; cook.
- Add carbonated beverage.
- Chill until partially set.
- Drain pineapple, reserving syrup.
- Fold drained pineapple and banana into jello mixture. Turn into an 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
- Chill until firm.
- Combine sugar and flour in pan.
- Stir in reserved pineapple syrup and the egg.
- Cook and stir until thickened; chill.
- Whip cream; fold into egg mixture.
- Spread over jello.
- Sprinkle with cheese and cut into squares.
