Macaroni-Tomato Casserole
- 2 c. macaroni
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. lean baking meat
- 1 c. onions
- 1 c. hamburger meat
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 1 can Campbell's condensed tomato soup
- 1/2 c. diced Cheddar cheese
- 4 Tbsp. grated cheese
- Boil macaroni in water with salt, until tender, stirring often. Dice baking meat and onion.
- Put butter in a thick skillet and heat, add hamburger meat, baking meat and onion.
- Cook until brown, stirring all the time you are cooking it.
- (May need to add a spoon or two of baking grease while browning it.)
- Put tomato soup in large mixing bowl.
- Add all other ingredients and 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese.
- Mix in the water from the cooked macaroni until you can mix it well.
- Put all into buttered cooking dish.
- Grate 4 tablespoons cheese and sprinkle on top.
- Bake in moderate oven 15 to 20 minutes.
- Serve hot.
