Macaroni-Tomato Casserole

  1. Boil macaroni in water with salt, until tender, stirring often. Dice baking meat and onion.
  2. Put butter in a thick skillet and heat, add hamburger meat, baking meat and onion.
  3. Cook until brown, stirring all the time you are cooking it.
  4. (May need to add a spoon or two of baking grease while browning it.)
  5. Put tomato soup in large mixing bowl.
  6. Add all other ingredients and 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese.
  7. Mix in the water from the cooked macaroni until you can mix it well.
  8. Put all into buttered cooking dish.
  9. Grate 4 tablespoons cheese and sprinkle on top.
  10. Bake in moderate oven 15 to 20 minutes.
  11. Serve hot.
