Easy Bisquick Lasagne Squares
- 1/2 c. creamed cottage cheese (small curd)
- 1 lb. ground beef, cooked and drained
- 1/4 Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tsp. dried oregano leaves
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 2 c. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 c. milk
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 c. Bisquick baking mix
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- Grease a square baking dish, 8 x 8 x 2-inches.
- Mix cooked ground beef with herbs, tomato paste and 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese in a separate bowl.
- Set aside.
- In the baking dish, place a layer of cottage cheese, then layer of Parmesan cheese, then beef mixture, evenly.
- Beat milk, eggs, Bisquick, salt and pepper with a wire whisk until smooth, approximately 1 minute.
- Pour over top of meat mixture.
- Bake at 400u0b0 for approximately 35 minutes. Sprinkle top with remaining cheese.
- Cool 5 minutes.
- Serves 6.
