Orange Chicken
- 4 chicken breasts (boneless and skinless)
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 c. cooking sherry
- 2 c. orange juice
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 6 thin slices green and red pepper
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- Combine 1/4 cup flour, salt, pepper and paprika in plastic bag without holes.
- Shake contents, then place chicken breasts in bag and shake.
- Take coated chicken breasts and brown in oil.
- Remove chicken.
- In same pan, mix juice, sherry, sugar and Worcestershire sauce.
- Bring to boil and reduce heat.
- Add combined water and cornstarch until thickened.
- Place chicken in greased pan.
- Place peppers and onions on top of chicken.
- Pour orange juice mix over top.
- Bake, covered, at 350u0b0 for 45 minutes.
