Garden Chicken And Stuffing
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. chopped carrots
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth
- 1 c. milk
- 1 (7 oz.) pkg. herb stuffing
- 2 c. cubed, cooked chicken or turkey
- carrot curls
- celery leaves
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar
- In 3-quart saucepan over medium heat, cook celery, onion and carrots in butter until tender.
- Add flour; cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Gradually stir in broth and milk.
- Cook until mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly.
- Add stuffing and chicken; toss to coat.
- Spoon into 2-quart oblong baking dish.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 35 minutes.
- Sprinkle with cheese and bake 5 minutes more to melt cheese.
- Garnish with carrot curls and celery leaves.
