Au Gratin Potatoes

  1. Clean potatoes and cut into thin slices to make about 4 cups. Cook and stir onion in margarine in 2-quart saucepan until tender.
  2. Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
  3. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is bubbly.
  4. Remove from heat. Stir in milk and 2 1/2 cups cheese.
  5. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
  6. Boil and stir for 1 minute.
  7. Place potatoes in ungreased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
  8. Pour cheese sauce on potatoes. Bake, uncovered, in 375u0b0 oven for 1 hour.
  9. Mix remaining cheese and bread crumbs.
  10. Sprinkle over potatoes.
  11. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake until top is brown and bubbly, 15 to 20 minutes longer. Makes 6 servings.
