Torta Rustica

  1. In large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add sausage; cook 6 to 7 minutes, stirring to break into small pieces until browned.
  2. With slotted spoon, remove sausage from skillet; set aside.
  3. Add onion to skillet; cook, stirring frequently, for 2 to 3 minutes, or until tender.
  4. Stir in broccoli, basil, fennel seed and salt.
  5. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes, or until broccoli is tender.
  6. Transfer mixture to medium bowl.
  7. In small bowl, combine Ricotta, egg substitute, milk and Parmesan cheese; set aside.
