Lasagna Casserole
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- salt, pepper, and garlic to taste
- 1 1/2 cup mushrooms, chopped (optional)
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce (any flavor)
- 2 can tomato sauce
- 1/2 can water
- basil, oregano, thyme, and Italian seasonings to taste
- 1 box bow-tie pasta
- 2 lbs mozzarella cheese, shredded
- In large pan, brown ground meat with salt, pepper, onion and garlic. Drain.
- Add mushrooms, spaghetti sauce, and tomato sauce.
- Mix well and simmer about 10 minutes.
- Add seasonings as desired.
- Cook pasta, drain.
- (Any non-shelled pasta will work fine, such as bow-ties).
- Add to meat mixture.
- Spray pan with Pam.
- Add half of mixture, sprinkle with half of cheese.
- Add remaining mixture and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
- Bake at 350u0b0 until cheese is thoroughly melted.
