Blueberry Lemon Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Grease a 5 x 9-inch loaf pan.
  3. Cream 1 cup sugar and butter until fluffy.
  4. Add eggs and lemon peel; beat well.
  5. Set aside 2 tablespoons flour; sift remaining flour with baking powder and salt.
  6. Mix the flour alternately with milk into creamed mixture.
  7. Beat smooth after each addition.
  8. Combine reserved flour with blueberries.
  9. Fold gently into batter.
  10. Turn into pan and bake 1 hour.
  11. Cool 10 minutes and pierce gently with a fork.
  12. Combine lemon juice and 1/4 cup sugar.
  13. Dissolve and pour over loaf.
  14. Enjoy!
