Christmas Fruit Salad
- 3 egg yolks, beaten
- 3 Tbsp. water
- 3 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. whipped cream
- 3 c. miniature marshmallows
- 2 c. halved green grapes
- 1 (20 oz.) an pineapple tidbits, drained
- 1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained
- 1 (10 oz.) jar red maraschino cherries, drained and sliced
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
- In large saucepan, combine egg yolks, water, vinegar and salt.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and reaches 160u0b0.
- Remove from heat.
- Fold in whipped cream.
- In large bowl, combine remaining ingredients.
- Add dressing and toss to coat.
- Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours. Makes 12 to 14 servings.
