My Special Stew
- 1/4 c. catsup
- 2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- 1 can tomatoes
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 3 c. boiling water
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 clove garlic
- 4 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 6 carrots, diced
- 2 stalks celery, diced
- 1/4 c. barbecue sauce
- round steak, cubed
- rice, cooked
- Brown meat in oil; drain.
- Add water, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, onion and all other condiments and seasonings.
- Simmer 2 hours.
- Add vegetables and continue to cook until vegetables are tender (20 to 30 minutes).
- Serve over rice.
