Orange Sugar Cookies

  1. In small bowl, combine flour and baking soda; set aside.
  2. In large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed, beat margarine, 3/4 cup sugar, orange peel and vanilla until creamy.
  3. Add egg product; beat for 1 minute.
  4. Gradually stir in flour.
  5. Mix until blended.
  6. Chill dough for 1 hour.
  7. Shape dough into 42 (3/4-inch) balls; roll in remaining sugar.
  8. Place 2 inches apart on lightly greased baking sheets at 375u0b0 for 8 to 10 minutes or until light browned.
  9. Cool on wire rack.
  10. Wrap and store at room temperature for up to 4 days.
  11. Makes 42.
  12. Serving:
  13. 1 cookie.
