Mac-Reuben Hot Dish

  1. Prepare noodles; drain.
  2. Combine cooked macaroni, ham, pimiento and green onions.
  3. In medium saucepan, melt butter; stir in flour.
  4. Gradually stir in milk.
  5. Cook and stir until slightly thickened.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Stir in cheese, mustard and pepper. Combine cheese sauce with macaroni mixture.
  8. Put half in 3-quart baking dish; layer with sauerkraut and top with remaining macaroni.
  9. Garnish with diced rye bread.
  10. Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes.
