Western Baked Beans

  1. Pan-fry bacon until crisp.
  2. Drain on towel; set aside.
  3. Place onion rings in large skillet and add the sugar, mustard, garlic powder, salt and vinegar.
  4. Cover and cook for 20 minutes.
  5. Add onion mixture to the beans.
  6. Pour into 3-quart casserole.
  7. Bake covered 1/2 hour at 350u0b0.
  8. Uncover and bake 1/2 hour longer. Crumble bacon over beans.
  9. Makes 12 servings.
