Layered Mexican Dip(Low-Fat)
- 2 lb. can refried beans
- 1/2 lb. ground turkey, cooked
- 3 Tbsp. liquid Butter Buds
- 1 large onion, diced
- 3 c. nonfat Mozzarella cheese
- 1 c. nonfat Cheddar
- 1 (16 oz.) jar taco sauce
- 4 oz. can chopped green chilies
- 1 c. low-fat sour cream or 1 c. low-fat cottage mixed with 2 Tbsp. lemon juice and 2 Tbsp. nonfat yogurt
- Brown onion in liquid Butter Buds.
- Add cooked turkey.
- Stir refried beans into turkey mixture.
- Spread into 9 x 13-inch casserole dish, sprayed with cooking spray.
- Sprinkle green chilies on top of turkey-bean mixture.
- Spread 1/2 cheese over, then pour taco sauce over cheese.
- Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
- Bake at 400u0b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Cool slightly and spoon sour cream on top.
- Serve with homemade low-fat chips.
