Irresistible Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies
- 3/4 c. crunchy peanut butter
- 1/2 c. Crisco vegetable shortening
- 1 1/4 c. light brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. milk
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 bag Hershey's Kisses
- Heat oven to 375u0b0.
- Combine peanut butter, shortening, light brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl.
- Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until well blended.
- Add egg.
- Beat until blended.
- Combine flour, salt and baking soda.
- Add to creamed mixture at low speed.
- Mix until blended.
- Drop heaping teaspoonfuls 2-inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- Flatten slightly.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for 7 to 8 minutes until just beginning to brown.
- Cool for 2 minutes.
- Remove cookies.
- Place on foil.
- Add Hershey's Kisses to center of cookies.
- Allow time to cool completely.
