Marty'S Shrimp Casserole
- 3 lb. cooked shrimp
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 large can chopped mushrooms
- 1 box Uncle Ben's long grain wild rice
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 6 drops Tabasco
- 1 3/4 cans cream of chicken soup
- buttered Ritz or Town House cracker crumbs
- Prepare rice according to directions on box.
- Saute onion and green pepper in 1/2 stick margarine until onion and pepper are soft.
- Add mushrooms.
- Combine rice, shrimp, onion, pepper and mushrooms with 1 3/4 cans of cream of chicken soup.
- Add 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce and 6 drops of Tabasco.
- Mix cracker crumbs with remaining melted margarine.
- Place rice and shrimp mixture in a buttered 13 x 9-inch casserole.
- Top with crumbs.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes.
- Serves 8.
