Savory Pork Chops With Caramelized Onions
- 4 pork rib chops, 1 1/4 -to 1 1/2-inch
- 4 teaspoons cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- CARAMELIZED ONIONS
- 4 cups sweet onions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- Sprinkle pork chops evenly with Cajun seasoning and pepper.
- Grill, covered with grill lid, over medium high heat (350u0b0F to 400u0b0F) 8 minutes on each side. Serve with Caramelized Onions.
- CARAMELIZED ONIONS:.
- Cook onion in hot olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring often, 10 to 12 minutes or until golden. Sprinkle with sugar, and cook 2 minutes. Add vinegar and next 3 ingredients, and cook 2 minutes. Serve warm or cold.
