Graham Cracker Preserves Cake

  1. Cream sugar and butter.
  2. Crush graham crackers and mix with milk.
  3. Separate eggs.
  4. Add egg yolks, then nuts, raisins, dates, crushed pineapple and preserves.
  5. Add baking powder.
  6. Fold in beaten egg whites.
  7. Pour into tube pan or 9 x 13-inch pan and cook in moderate to slow oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
