Hazel'S Lasagna

  1. Melt butter or margarine in large skillet or Dutch oven.
  2. Add onion and garlic and cook gently about 5 minutes.
  3. Add ground beef.
  4. Cook slowly, stirring frequently, until all red color disappears from meat.
  5. Stir in tomato paste, tomatoes, salt, pepper, basil and oregano.
  6. Simmer, stirring occasionally, 30 to 35 minutes.
