Apple-Walnut Cake

  1. Beat together brown sugar, butter and vanilla at medium speed on electric mixer, about 3 minutes or until light and fluffy.
  2. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
  3. Add combined flour, cornmeal, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg alternately with sour cream, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Fold in apples and nuts.
  5. Spoon into well-greased 9-cup Bundt pan.
  6. Bake at 350u0b0 about 1 hour.
  7. Cool 10 minutes.
  8. Remove from pan.
  9. Ice with Browned Butter Icing.
