Sweet Peanut Treats

  1. In the top of a double boiler, over simmering water, melt chocolate chips, butterscotch chips and peanut butter.
  2. Stir until smooth.
  3. Spread half into a greased 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan. Chill until firm.
  4. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, bring butter, milk and pudding mix to a boil.
  5. Cook and stir for 2 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Add confectioners sugar and beat until smooth.
  8. Spread over chocolate mixture in pan.
  9. Stir peanuts into remaining chocolate mixture; mix well.
  10. Carefully spread over pudding layer. Refrigerate.
  11. Cut into 1-inch squares.
  12. Yields 10 dozen.
