Cheesecake Cookies
- 1/3 c. brown sugar
- 1/3 c. chopped pecans
- 1 c. flour (all-purpose)
- 1/3 c. melted butter
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. milk or cream
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- powdered sugar
- Mix first 5 ingredients until like meal.
- Reserving 1 cup of mixture, spread in an 8-inch buttered square pan.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 12 minutes.
- Put cream cheese in mixing bowl.
- Beat together with sugar, egg, lemon juice, milk and vanilla.
- Pour over cooked crust; sprinkle remaining crust mixture over top of cream cheese mixture.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
- When cool, cut into squares.
