Barnyard Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Beat together until fluffy the almond extract, shortening, brown sugar, milk, vanilla and egg.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt and soda.
  4. Add flour mixture to other ingredients, blending well.
  5. Stir in chips, pecans and cereal.
  6. Place rounded teaspoonfuls of dough on an ungreased cooking sheet, leaving 2 inches between cookies.
  7. Bake 10 to 13 minutes or until golden around the edges.
  8. Makes 5 dozen cookies.
