Choco-Mallow Brownies
- 1/2 c. margarine, softened
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 3 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 2 c. miniature marshmallows
- Chocolate Frosting (recipe follows)
- Cream butter in a large mixing bowl.
- Add sugar, beating until fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating at medium speed of electric mixer.
- Set mixture aside.
- Combine flour and next 3 ingredients; add to creamed mixture, stirring well.
- Stir in vanilla and chopped pecans.
- Spoon batter into greased 9-inch square pan.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 18 to 20 minutes.
- Remove from oven; sprinkle with marshmallows.
- Cover with foil; allow to stand for 5 minutes to melt marshmallows.
- Remove foil.
- Spread frosting on top of warm brownies; cool and cut into squares.
