Cherry Chip Brownies
- 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
- 1 (18.5 oz.) pkg. chocolate cake mix
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
- 5 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Combine pie filling, cake mix, eggs and almond extract in large bowl.
- Mix until well blended.
- Spread mixture into a lightly greased and floured 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch jelly roll pan.
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until done. Cool.
- Combine sugar, milk and margarine in small saucepan.
- Mix well.
- Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute.
- Remove from heat, add chocolate chips.
- Stir until melted.
- Spread over cooled brownies. Cool completely and cut into bars.
