Peanut Butter Balls

  1. Cream margarine and peanut butter in medium bowl until light. Add confectioners sugar gradually, mixing well after each addition.
  2. Shape into 1-inch balls.
  3. Place balls on waxed paper-lined tray.
  4. Melt paraffin and chocolate chips in heavy saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly.
  5. Insert toothpick into each peanut butter ball; dip into chocolate mixture.
  6. Place on waxed paper-lined tray.
  7. Let stand until set.
  8. Store in airtight container.
  9. Paraffin measurement assumes paraffin to have 4 blocks in box.
  10. May add chopped pecans to peanut butter mixture or place pecan over hole made by toothpick.
  11. Yield: 80 servings.
