Fresh Salsa

  1. In a large frying pan, cook all the chiles until black on each side, then cut chiles down the middle and remove all the seeds. Dice chiles real small.
  2. Put into a large saucepan.
  3. Chop onions and tomatoes real small.
  4. Put into pan with chiles.
  5. Add the Pace salsa to other ingredients in pan.
  6. Also, add tomato sauce, stewed tomatoes and 1 cup of water.
  7. Let simmer for about 1 hour.
  8. Make sure to add about 1 tablespoon of garlic salt.
  9. Make sure to mix all ingredients well before simmering.
  10. Makes about 6 pounds of salsa.
