Bea'S Italian Style Spaghetti Sauce
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 3 onions, chopped
- 5 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 cups mixed mushrooms, sliced
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 3 stalks celery, diced
- 1 (796 ml) can diced tomatoes
- 4 (680 ml) cans unico garlic pasta sauce
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon marjoram
- 1 teaspoon celery salt
- 1 teaspoon onion salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- Brown meat with 2 onions and garlic cloves in large sauce pot.
- Drain fat.
- Add remaining ingredients to pot and mix well.
- Place in 350 degree oven for 2 hours.
- Lower heat to 275 degrees and cook for another 2 hours.
