Lasagne(Lite Cooking)

  1. Cook and stir onions and garlic in Crisco until tender.
  2. Add ground beef and drain if necessary.
  3. Add tomatoes and tomato paste, basil, oregano, sugar and pepper.
  4. Stir until well blended. Simmer 30 minutes.
  5. Combine cottage cheese, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese and parsley; set aside.
  6. Cook noodles 7 minutes in unsalted boiling water.
  7. Drain.
  8. Heat oven to 350u0b0.
  9. Layer all ingredients in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
  10. Top with sauce and Mozzarella cheese. Bake 45 minutes.
  11. Makes 12 servings.
