Delightful Dessert
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 2 c. nondairy whipped topping, divided
- 1 (3.4 oz.) pkg. instant chocolate pudding
- 1 (3.4 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
- 2 c. milk
- shaved chocolate
- Preheat oven to 325u0b0.
- Melt margarine and combine with flour and pecans.
- Mix well and pat into bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake for 20 minutes; let cool.
- Combine cream cheese, powdered sugar and 1 cup nondairy whipped topping.
- Spread evenly over baked crust.
- Combine instant pudding mixes with 2 cups milk, according to package directions.
- Spread pudding mixture evenly over cream cheese layer.
- Spread remaining nondairy whipped topping over pudding layer.
- Garnish with shaved chocolate.
- Chill thoroughly before serving.
- Yields 16 squares.
