Savory Ham Bread
- 2/3 c. green onion and tops
- 3 Tbsp. Wesson oil
- 2 c. Bisquick
- 1 c. chopped, cooked ham or corned beef
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 2/3 c. milk (sweet)
- 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
- 1 1/2 c. grated sharp cheese
- 2 Tbsp. sesame seed (optional)
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
- Saute onion in 1 tablespoon of oil approximately 2 minutes. Combine Bisquick and ham.
- Mix remaining oil, eggs, milk, mustard, onions and 1/2 the cheese.
- Add to ham mixture and stir until well mixed.
- Spread in greased round 10-inch casserole 1 to 1 1/2-inches deep.
- Sprinkle with rest of cheese and sesame seed (if desired).
- Pour butter or margarine over top.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
- Cut in wedges and serve hot with butter.
