60 Minute Pan Dinner Rolls

  1. In a large bowl, mix 3 cups flour, sugar, undissolved yeast and salt.
  2. Heat milk, water and margarine until warm (120u0b0 to 130u0b0).
  3. Mix into dry ingredients.
  4. Add egg and enough flour to make a soft dough.
  5. Knead on floured surface until smooth, about 8 minutes.
  6. Cover; let rest for 10 minutes.
  7. Divide dough in half. Roll each half to fit two greased 8 or 9-inch square pans.
  8. Place in pans.
  9. With sharp knife, cut dough in each pan into 16 rolls; cover.
  10. Let rise in warm place until double, about 20 minutes. Dust tops with 1 tablespoon flour.
  11. Bake at 400u0b0 for 15 minutes or until done.
  12. Makes 32.
